To support the Laboratories with operational and administrative activities ensuring high quality standards are met at all times.


Job Requirements

  • Acquire further knowledge of wider roles within the department to enhance departmental flexibility. 
  • Learn Mechanical Testing and associated software for the input and transfer of test results.
  • Learning Customer and end user specific requirements
  • Learning the physical size and surface check requirements
  • Learning to control Data transfer from Server
  • Learning the internal Calibration systems
  • Learn to produce accurate test certification
  • Operation of Hardness Testing Machines and other Laboratory equipment as required.
  • Filing of documentation and quality records in a manner to prevent loss or deterioration.
  • Deal with telephone calls from customers and internal contacts in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify discrepancies or errors on Works Production Tickets and advise accordingly to ensure these are corrected.
  • Communicating at all levels in an effective manner

This position offers a group personal pension plan which you are eligible to join after 3 months.

Holiday entitlement: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays.
